Free Complete Works of H.P. Lovecraft for Nook and Kindle

The Complete Works of H.P. Lovecraft contains all the original stories which Lovecraft wrote as an adult. It begins in 1917 with “The Tomb” and ends in 1935 with his last original work “The Haunter of the Dark.” The book is ordered chronologically by the date the story was written. Because Lovecraft was a terrible businessman and left no heirs to his intellectual property, all of his works are already in the public domain. I did not include collaborations or revisions because some of those works may still be under the co-author’s copyright.
It shouldn’t be any surprise that Hugh Laurie and Benedict Cumberbatch have worked together. Haven’t all English actors worked together? I’m totally for a Sherlock/post-House crossover.
So it turns out Dr. House and Sherlock Holmes were once on a TV show together.
Now they need to do another TV show together. Right quick.
I’m not sure why I never read more of his work, but I’ve stored a mental note for years that said, “Read more Vance.” Last week, I got the chance when I received this graphic novel adaptation of a classic Vance short story called “The Moon Moth,” beautifully adapted by Humayoun Ibrahim.
I bet a lot of these journalists and photographers never thought they’d practically be war correspondents while covering a story in the United States. Also being black was probably a bad idea.
